Big Football Weekend for Cilles Mens Teams

Whatever about the weather, there’s a feast of football this weekend for our men’s team with the first round of the 2018 Championship and the Minor League Final.

First up this Friday evening; our Minor (U17) team take on Senchalstown in the Minor League County Final in Dunganny, throw in 8pm. This should be a cracker between the two top teams in the league and we’re hoping for a big Cilles support to cheer on the lads.

Then on Saturday in Donore at 6:30pm, our Senior team commence their Championship campaign against Rathkenny. Another tough encounter is expected as Cilles will strive to build on recent success in the League.

Finally on Sunday in Walterstown at 3:30pm, our Junior B team take on Donaghmore Ashbourne in their opener. Here too Cilles are hoping to start with a win against a strong Ashbourne team.
