Cilles Royals meet Royals
A case of Royals meeting Royals as our Inclusion team, volunteers and coaches were guests of the Association and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Croke Park. Our wonderful champions showcased the GAA Fun and Run games for the Duke and Duchess.
What a day it was as Harry and Meghan broke off script and schedule to spend a significant amount of time with our young stars and volunteers. Two wonderful ambassadors and such a loving couple and game for a laugh they charmed and were charmed by all in attendance.
It was a never to be forgotten experience and one we are indebted and so humbled to be chosen as ambassadors of the GAA
This was a really special day made possible by the hard work and culture of giving that epitomizes our great club and family. In a day where so many people were involved and played a role, special mention must be made of our Healthy Club Officer, Gwen Lanigan and Inclusion GAA leader Ken McHutcheon who drive the initiative and without whom the programme would not be in place.
Above all a special word to our Champion team, you and your families are what make our club so special and so great. We look forward to cheering you on in the years to come and always remember … we are ALL St Colmcilles
