We are delighted to share the exciting news with all our members and supporters that we’ve been granted planning permission to proceed with our much needed dressing rooms in Seafield. You can see the plans in the pictures below.
The facility is welcomed by everyone in the East Meath community and makes the iconic venue more usable for us all. GAA has been played at the Seafield for almost 70 years and until now the teams have had to use temporary accommodation such as Lorry Containers nor did it have toilet facilities.
There are many people to thank for completion of the first and probably most tedious stage of this project; our own Denis Meagher primarily.
We have also received great support from the neighbouring clubs of Laytown United, East Meath United, Cilles AC and Laytown Pitch and Putt who all helped by supporting our project.
We’d like to also thank the County Manager, Jackie Maguire, Meath County Council Director of Finance, Fiona Lawless, Meath County Council Chairman, Tom Kelly and all the local councillors and politicians for their support.
