Saints make the Hurling Final

A chairde,

Our super íontach u12 team “The Saints” (Colmcilles and St Pats combined) have made it to the final of the summer tournament after beating Kiltale in a fantastic game of hurling last Monday in Stamullen.  We are so proud of the hard work they have put in to get to this point.

The final will take place next Monday BH 6th August in Navan O’Mahonys and as such there will be NO street league that night and we are asking anyone who is free to come along and support these great lads instead if you can.  They are great role models for our younger hurlers.  The match will take place at 17:30 in Navan O’Mahonys (Paddy O’Brien Park) at 17:30 vs Donaghamore Ashbourne.  It promises to be a competitive match with some great hurling skills on display. Please come along if you can and show your support. Link to googlemaps below.

Apparently the hurling in the street league was also great on Monday evening and the finals of the league will be played at a later date, possibly towards the end of the month when everyone is home from their holidays.

Regular hurling training will continue on the back pitch from the 13th at 6:45pm as usual.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh and hope to see you in Navan next Monday.

Gwen and the hurling team.
