Des Lane – A Fond farewell.

As you will have seen from our advert, we are seeking applications for senior men’s football team manager for 2019. We would like to thank our manager over the last two years , Des Lane for all his hard work and commitment to the club.

In Des’s time with the club we reached the All Ireland Intermediate Football championship Final, obtained promotion to Division 1 of the A leagues and consolidated our position as a senior team reaching a first ever senior championship quarter final in 2018. In his time with the club Des wholeheartedly embraced the club attending games all over the county at every level and we will miss his presence in Piltown.

We wish Des and all his family the very best in his future endeavors and look forward to meeting again soon on the field – Thanks for everything Gaffer
