A historic afternoon in Dunganny saw the lads from East Meath, captained by Cillian Quigley, become the inaugural winners of this trophy, just reward for all involved especially the lads and their coaches Daithi Finegan and Damien O’Brien. While it was a memorable team effort with some great team scores, special mention to Conor Power who was given a well deserved ovation as he came off midway through the second half with a personal tally of 6:4
