Hurling Update.
It takes more than weather warning to stop the marching Saints. Our u15’s, ably captained by Tadgh, battled the elements and a valiant team from North Meath Hurling to take a win the Táin inter county league. Meanwhile our u12 blue team took on Navan O’Mahonys. In a fantastic performance they battled hard against a tough Navan team and the elements in the 2nd half. We scored our first “scrappy” goal of the season courtesy of Conall and Mars Bars for all courtesy of Darragh O’Byrne as a forfeit for the Oisínator scoring on his Saints debut. Excellent sideline support crew, who also played a stormer with cheering and encouragement throughout the game. Both u12 teams are playing again this Saturday in Stamullen in a double header from 12:30. All support welcome.
