The Club have partnered with the Hands for Life CPR Programme and Donacarney Girls School to bring free CPR training(1 hour) to east Meath on this Saturday, 14th September.
The course takes one hour to complete and this community based CPR training is free and concentrates on recognising cardiac arrest, making the 112 call, listening to the call taker and knowing your Eircode. Candidates then get to practice hands only compression’s on a manikin along with a section on AED awareness, choking, child CPR, recognising stroke and the difference between a cardiac arrest and a heart attack. Please note that those who attend the training must be over 18 years.
We have 3 one hour sessions on the 14th September at 10am, 11:30am and 1pm in Realt na Mara Girls School in Donacarney.
