U12s/13s Blue Team Saints Hurling Awards. First up is player of the year as voted by the team. Peter. Pete is always there putting in 100% at both training and both Blue and Green teams matches. He leaves it all on the field every time and getting voted by his team mates means so much to Pete. Well done Pete keep practicing and your county dream will come true. Next up is Cian getting most improved player of the year. This is a very just reward for this chap who really put it in this year. Gave it his all at training and could play in basically any position on match day which is the sign of a great player. Seriously tough cookie here and one to watch in the future. Pleasure to coach with a huge smile. Well done Cian. Next up Adam. Star of the future or “All Star” . Adam was definitely the focal point of the team and his score tally is proof of that. Adam is predominantly a midfielder for his Blue team but again Adam will go where he is put and get stuck in. He is also a super leader helping his mates. Well done Adam. Finally Star of the future Joshua. Joshua wins an “All Star” this year for his efforts and rightly so. Its very seldom Joshua wouldn’t be pitch side supporting the minors or senior team and always hurley to hand. This interest has filtered out onto the pitch and is reflected in his play. A super half forward winger who never stops and a nightmare to mark. Lovely all round chap to coach too. Well done Joshua.
