St Colmcilles has always been instrumental in producing players who distinguished themselves at both club and County level. No more so than the legends of the game that are Robbie O’Malley and Bernard Flynn. Our club continues to be represented to this day by our newest County player in Graham Reilly.

Robbie O’Malley is a St Colmcilles and Meath legend of the game. With St Colmcilles he won a Junior Championship in 1983 and an Intermediate Championship in 1988. |

Bernard Flynn was a star corner forward on the successful Meath team of the late eighty’s & early ninety’s managed by Sean Boylan. With St. Colmcille’s he won a Junior Championship in 1983 and an Intermediate Championship in 1988 before moving in 1991 to St. Joseph’s(Laois) and then later to Mullingar Shamrocks(Westmeath). During his playing career he won 2 Senior All Ireland medals (1987 & 1988) as well as 5 Leinster medals, 3 National League Medals, a Centenary Cup Medal and 2 All Star awards. Playing for Meath he was part of a full forward line of Colm O’Rourke, Brian Stafford & himself, rightly regarded as one of the best full forward lines of all time. |

Graham Reilly made his senior championship debut for Meath in 2010 winning a Leinster title with the royals. He made a huge impact in his first season hitting 1-15 from play from the half-forward position. |
