St. Colmcilles advanced to the U15 division 1 final after a tough game against a gallant Ratoath side. The scoreline (6-16 to 2-11) although convincing was not a true reflection of the on field clash. Four early unanswered goals, two brilliantly finished by Cillian Quigley and one each  from Luke Hannon and Fiachra McNabb set the foundation for victory .Most teams would have crumbled from this early onslaught but to be fair to the lads from Ratoath, they kept their heads up and fought hard to keep in the game and they rallied with some great scores to leave it 4-2 to 0-5 at halftime. St Colmcilles Meath U15

The second half was a much tighter contest with a great display of point taking from both sides, but although Ratoath came up with two great goals, the Cilles also responded with two goals. Adam Daly took a well taken goal and a great team move which was coolly slotted home by Sean O Donoghue.
