Colmcilles under 16 Division 1 kicked off against local rivals St Pats last in Piltown.
Various new girls took to the field at Division 1 level and this was seamless to them.
It was a game of 2 halves with Cilles carrying a decent lead into half time but Pats never gave up and 2 early goals got them back into the game.
Despite a purple patch from Cilles Pat’s ran out convincing winner on a scoreline of 3-5 to 3-11.
We wish Pats all the best in the rest of the competition and hope to meet them again later on.
