A great performance by the U15 Ladies on a cold Sunday morning in Dunganny saw them take the spoils against a very formidable Oldcastle.
It was a battle from the start with, Oldcastle taking an early lead but the girls got themselves in it with some outstanding performances by a lot of players and reasserted control of the game winning out 3-9 to 2-5 in the end.
With a squad of 23 players each and everyone played their part in the final and in every game along the way demonstrating the power of the team and pack mentality to get the job done and to take home the cup.
Hard luck to a very good Oldcastle team who have proven to be very worthy adversaries over the season and we all look forward to meeting again.
